Naturopathy and medical care

Naturopathic care is complementary healthcare and is not a replacement for appropriate medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

You should continue to consult your GP, specialist and other healthcare providers as appropriate.

Do not stop, commence or change the dose of prescribed medication without consulting the healthcare practitioner responsible for prescribing it.

If a symptom requires medical investigation, you may be advised to see your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.

  • significant changes in your health.

Please tell Pam if any of these circumstances change during treatment.

Pathology and testing

Existing pathology and test results may be reviewed where relevant.

Additional testing may sometimes be recommended through your GP, private pathology providers or functional testing providers.

Testing recommendations and naturopathic interpretation of results do not replace medical diagnosis or medical assessment where required.

Herbal medicines and nutritional supplements

Herbal medicines and nutritional supplements may be recommended where appropriate.

Individual responses vary, and adverse reactions or interactions are possible.

Please advise Pam of all medications and supplements you are taking.

If you experience a suspected adverse reaction, stop the relevant product where appropriate and contact the clinic or seek medical advice depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.

Children and young people

Pam sees children and young people.

A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide consent and participate in the consultation, depending on the young person's age, maturity and capacity.

The young person's privacy, wellbeing and developing ability to participate in healthcare decisions will be respected.

Online consultations

Online consultations are available.

You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection and, where possible, a private environment in which to participate.

Technology occasionally fails. If a consultation is interrupted, reasonable attempts will be made to reconnect or make another suitable arrangement.

Clinical information may also be communicated electronically where appropriate.

If you have concerns about receiving sensitive information electronically, please discuss this with Pam.

Delivery details

Please provide an accurate delivery address.

If you notice an error after providing your delivery details, contact us as soon as possible.

Once a parcel has been dispatched, we may not be able to change its delivery address.

Change-of-mind returns

Due to the nature of the health, nutritional and ingestible products supplied through the clinic, we do not accept change-of-mind returns where doing so would be inappropriate for hygiene, health or safety reasons.

Australian Consumer Law does not generally require a business to provide a refund or replacement where a customer simply changes their mind.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.

If a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances and the requirements of Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.

A change-of-mind or hygiene policy does not remove consumer rights in relation to faulty or non-compliant goods.
